“Mommy, my legs hurt!!!”
I was talking with a few other moms about a common problem we share with our growing children. Leg cramps, otherwise know as growing pains. I certainly had them, and now my son who is six does too. I can personally attest to the fact that when you are six, nothing is more painful. The odd thing is, I’ve heard more than a few moms say, according to their pediatricians, other than giving them Children’s Tylenol, “There’s nothing you can do.”
Bologna.
My mom used to coat my legs with a product that’s been around for as long as I have, called Absorbine Jr
.
It penetrates deep into the muscle to relieve pain. Coupled with a heating pad, you can count the minutes before the pain subsides.
My son’s favorite heating pad which we use frequently and conveniently travel with too, is by Herbal Concepts. There’s no cord to plug in. It heats up in the microwave in two minutes and is ready to go. It also feels good on mommy’s tired neck at the end of the day.
While these are not the most high-tech solutions, they are tried and true ways of putting an end to those big, sad crocodile tears.
Feel better little ones.

Oh my gosh! I had never heard about these remedies before. Samantha has awful growing pains and all I thought I could do was give her tylenol or advil. I will be making a new investment in Absorbine Jr and a heating pad shortly.
Thank you so much!
After hubby read it, even he wants his own bottle of pain relief and a heat pad. : ) Glad it helps.
